Disco Bar Zulú was born in 2009 in Manganeses de la Lampreana as Manuel Vicente Salvador García's life project. A place where wine, gastronomy and hospitality blend into a unique experience.
The story
It was 2009 when Manuel opened the doors of Disco Bar Zulú in the heart of Manganeses de la Lampreana. With a clear vision: to create a space where quality wines were the protagonists, without pretension but with all the passion and knowledge of a born sommelier.
What started as a wine bar became a reference in the region, attracting enthusiasts from across Castilla y León who came to hear the stories Manuel tells behind each bottle.
Today, over 15 years later, Disco Bar Zulú remains true to its essence: an honest place, with quality produce, where time slows down a little.
Opening of Disco Bar Zulú
Manuel opens the bar with an initial selection of 30 carefully chosen wines.
First DO Toro tasting
The first official tasting event with the great wines of the DO Toro denomination.
President of the Zamora Sommeliers Association
Manuel is elected president of the ASZ, recognition of his years of dedication.
